Apprenticeships are designed to help you learn by getting hands-on experience. It's sometimes also known as work-based learning, because you literally learn as you work. You'll get training to develop new skills and then immediately get to put them into practice in the workplace. At the end of your apprenticeship you get a qualification recognising what you've learned.
It takes a great deal of hard work but if you stick at it and do well, you're already on your way to an excellent career in a growing industry. Depending on the apprenticeship, you'll get to attend training courses abroad, drive the latest cars and receive the highest level of training available. Not to mention you'll have a blast.
We spend about £50,000 to £60,000 training our apprentices, so we do everything we can to make sure they're achieving and learning all the skills they need.
